Toyota took the beloved Innova formula and dropped it onto a new TNGA-C monocoque platform with a strong hybrid system — and the result is revelatory. The 2.0L hybrid is whisper-quiet below 40 kmph, making it feel like an EV in city traffic. Highway fuel economy of 19–21 kmpl from a 7-seater is genuinely impressive. The 2nd-row captain seats are among the most comfortable in any Indian car under ₹35 lakh. If you need to move a family in comfort without compromise, the HyCross is in a class of its own.
