What we like
Watch out for
The KTM 390 Adventure is arguably the most complete sub-400cc adventure tourer money can buy in India. The single-cylinder motor punches well above its displacement — smooth low-end pull, a linear mid-range, and a crisp top-end make it equally at home on NH straights and forest tracks. The WP suspension is plush enough to absorb broken tarmac without bottoming out on trails. Add a proper TFT display with Bluetooth navigation, a slipper clutch, and cornering ABS, and you have a machine that rivals bikes costing twice as much on features. The heat and vibration at sustained speeds are real, but manageable. For riders who want to escape the city and actually go somewhere, the 390 Adventure is our top recommendation in the segment.
